February is here and you know what that means… everything is either heart-shaped or pink and you can get your favorite snacks for half price! Who doesn’t love that?! For those of us with a special someone, it’s also a time to spend together and relax.
Even if you are staying home or spending the day alone, you can still make it special! Dressing for yourself is a great way to start the day and Valentine’s Day is no exception. I might be in a happy relationship, but don’t get me wrong, I love having Galentine’s Day with my besties when social circumstances allow for it.

Wearing something that makes you feel good is key to having a good time. I find that it is arguably as important as feeling good in your own skin. Of course, one is easier to change than the other, but you should embrace your individual style when possible. Don’t feel ashamed of wearing a bold pattern or something that shows what you look like!
Here’s what I’d wear to different places and how I build the outfit with staple wardrobe pieces!I was contacted by the lovely PR Team for Francesca’s to take a look at their Valentine’s Day collections and I fell in love with some of the pieces from their site! Despite this post being #sponsored I am being totally honest about my feelings toward the brand and the quality!

First up is this versatile sweater/skirt combo! I love the poofy sleeves of the sweater and how it adds to the cozy look. I live in Northwestern Maryland where February is our snowiest month!
Pretty fitting, since we’ve just been pummeled by this last snowstorm!
I found that the material stretched well and wasn’t see-through which is great for a white top. It’s also not too big to tuck into your favorite bottoms!

wears more like a shaw and is the perfect addition to any outfit! The pink tones make it perfect for a lowkey Valentine’s Day outfit while its versatility makes it a great staple piece!
P.s. this piece is considered one size fits all and although I am on the petite side, I can easily imagine a bigger person wearing it with no worries of poor coverage or discomfort!

Next up is this stunning Sacha Plaid Surplice Blouse (M) that pairs well with almost anything! I’m not typically dressed in pink from head to toe, even on Valentine’s Day, so this statement top is perfect for my style!

I was most excited about seeing how these boots would fit and they were a perfect fit! I’m wearing the Eevie Block Heel Boot (9.5w US) and they are everything I need in a boot. I prefer block heels for their support and these were great, even when walking on uneven ground!
I’ve paired this Callie Spotted Ladder Trim Blouse (M) with a favorite pair of jeans and an army green jacket to create a bold yet elegant look. I love how the cooler-toned jacket compliments the warm oranges on the blouse!

Finally, we have a classic: a little black dress!
I’ve paired the Vivian Striped Knit Komono with this darling Sandra Flair Ladder Dress (M) for a softer take on a black dress.
This dress came with a mask to match, which is a nice way to look classy! Keep a disposable mask underneath as their product description discloses it is not medically significant!
I love the sweetheart neckline, though I would size up if I were to get it again. It was a bit tight in the chest but it fit my broad shoulders like a charm!
I was so excited to see these pieces come in the mail! It was so fun planning this lookbook while shopping on their site. If you’re looking for what Cupid would wear, check out their new Cupid’s Picks selection—it won’t last forever!
